I am a Ph.D. student in the economics department at the University of Texas at Austin. I’ve studied a number of economic fields in graduate school, including public and development economics, but my primary interest is environmental economics.
The focus of my research has been theoretical and empirical analyses of environmental policies. I am particularly interested in the role of government in leading climate change prevention and adaption efforts. Please check out the “Research” tab if you would like to see any of my work.
I grew up in Mamaroneck, New York, and attended Duke University as an undergraduate. Prior to graduate school, I worked in banking and consulting in New York City. I travel south for school because I enjoy being outdoors, especially when I’m playing soccer, baseball or very bad golf. I’m also an avid sports fan, I love to travel, eat and read good books.
